"Kill the Wabbit..."

Wow, it's insane how badly I want to go to this:

Bugs Bunny on Broadway
Saturday, January 3, 2009, 7pm
Symphony Hall
George Daugherty, Conductor
Beep! Beep! Experience your favorite "Wascally Wabbit" and his friends Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote, and Porky Pig—in full movie palace glory. Watch classic Warner Bros. Studios cartoons on the big screen—including The Rabbit of Seville and What's Opera, Doc?—while The Phoenix Symphony plays Carl Stalling’s original Looney Tunes scores LIVE, inspired by the classics of Rossini, Wagner, Strauss, and many others. Fun for the whole family.

  1. that sounds great. I love Bugs and don't know why they don't still play those cartoons, they beat anything on today for kids in that genre.

  2. do you kids watch bugs? i think a lot of the cartoons today are pretty scary. i think i flipped by lazytown once and it looked like a bad nightmare. i love the old, very un-PC, cartoons of our day... ahhh, the mammaries...

  4. janelle,

acutally, it's at the phoenix symphony!!! i don't know what the broadway part is about...

however, i'm wavering now because r reminded me that the place would probably be crawling with children (although, do kids still watch warner bros?) & we have other plans that night.

  5. unfortunately it's just old looney tunes cartoons on a big screen with live music, NOT a live action bugs bunny, which would be awesome and impossible to pull off
