I know, I'm going to buy them directly from Capezio for cheap (in black). I hate how hipster stores mark up basic items. You are a dance shoe extraordinaire.
YOu are a smart lady, and yes re: marking prices up-I mean give me a break! FYI: you'll need to have a cobbler hardsole them for you if you want to wear them out of the house, otherwise they'll be destroyed after a couple wears outside. You prob. knew that already!
No, they're selling them straight out of the Capezio box but marking up the price. :( It'd be cheaper in the long run to buy them from a dance store and have them resoled. Just make sure you get a good cobbler that puts a hard flat sole on it. :)
I'll admit I'm a nerd for knowing this, but they're Irish dancing soft shoes!

ReplyDeleteDid you have a good NY?? :)
ah-ha! i totally didn't know that! ...now that seems like a bit too much work, LOL. Maybe that's why the ones online are a little more expensive??
ReplyDeleteNY was good, laid back. you?
