I always see people doing this ahead of me on the subway stairs. I put my entire foot on the step and push off from my heel (I do this because I did step aerobics and I just know that works your butt more). However, sometimes I misjudge and my heel doesn't make it onto the step, so then I almost fall backwards - and then I think the people only using the ball of their foot are doing it right.

ReplyDeleteI do the wrong way all the time. I'm totally conscience of it too. Perhaps that's why I'm a mini Quawzi-Moto.
This explains everything. I've been doing it WRONG all these years. I thought that I at least had walking down by now.
