Auditory Prozac: NPR Personalities

NPR hosts & correspondents always have the best names. It's as if having a buttery moniker is a prerequisite for employment. Here are a few of my faves:
  • Steve Inskeep
  • Guy Raz
  • Soraya Sarhaddi Nelson
  • Kai Ryssdal
  • Neda Ulaby
  • Carl Kasell
  • Corey Flintoff
Who did I leave off? Who are your faves?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

  • Lakshmi Signh
  • Mara Liasson
  • Nina Totenberg
  • Chery Glaser
  • Renee Montagne
  • Michelle (ME-shell) Norris

  1. Mara Liaison?

You know the game, right? You, too, can have an NPR name. Just remove one consonant from your last name and insert it somewhere in your first name. Viola! An NPR name. Mine would be Sunsie Quilli!

  2. MARA! How could I have forgotten about Mara. Thanks for the reminder!

Also, I've never heard of the game, but it's freaking genius!!!

  3. I have a major voice crush on Kai Ryssdal.
I wish I had never googled him. He looks like Bill Nye the science guy. Such a bummer.

Nina Totenberg gets suck in my head and Soraya Sarhaddi Nelson is my all time fave.

  6. My personal favorite is Chery Glaser - pronounced CHERRY GLAZER?! I'll tell you one thing - she makes me VERY hungry for a glazed donut during my morning drive, that's for sure.

  11. We have to solve the problem in the deep mind of the patient and then some patient might not need any more medicine.
