My poor doggin' has come down with a case of cherry eye. It's not as cute as it sounds, but I'm trying to look on the bright side. Perhaps there'll be a tiny eye patch in the future.
Au revoir, dinner at Le Bernardin. Bonjour, eye surgery.

UPDATE!
Thanks for all your warm wishes! Bella is healed sans surgery! All it took was some steroidal anti inflammatory/biotic eye drops!

Makes me think of that Warrant song, Cherry Pie. All I remember about it is a pair of tight pants and a gruesome huge smile.
ReplyDeleteoh honey. pet surgery is the pits (if i took care of myself half as well as i take care of my cats, i'd be bionic by now). you'll be eating the at-home dinner of the just.

My lhasa apso had cherry eye and it stayed out for 6 days. My vet put him on BNPH ointment and after one dose, the cherry eye regressed. Surgery was averted.
